STV ASGARD ll passing Roche's Point . Est. 1817, sited at the entrance to Cork Harbour, the present 15m high tower was built 1835. A familiar sight to Swansea-Cork ferry passengers, Cobh and Crosshaven yachtsmen, it stands 30m above sea level and has a diaphone fog signal.
